(PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- On October 11, 2013, the Law Offices of Minsk & Associates, LLC. filed an FLSA collective action complaint entitled Tiffany Bromirski on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated vs. Oasis Goodtime Emporium I, Inc. & Barbara Holcomb, Northern District of Georgia (Case No.# 1:13-cv-03380-JEC).
The potential Class consists of exotic dancers who worked at Oasis in the last three years. The Complaint alleges that the Defendants improperly classified exotic dancers as independent contractors rather than employees entitled to minimum and overtime wages pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act and also improperly forced Plaintiffs to pay to go to work. The complaint seeks minimum wage and overtimes wages for the last 3 years and also restitution for all monies paid by the Plaintiffs in the form of fees and fines for the last three years.
