Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “Blues Guitar Lesson - Main 3 Blues Chords Eric Clapton Style - 12 Bar Blues in the Key of E”
(PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- “These chord shapes are three very important chord shapes that I’ve found that Eric Clapton uses in a lot of his acoustic blues”, says MacLennan. Jon demonstrates the first chord as an open E Major chord and by simple adding your 4th finger to the 3rd fret of the 2nd string you get an E7 chord. “One thing about the blues is that all of the chords are Dominant 7th Chords”, says MacLennan. Next Jon demonstrates the next chord which is A7 and he explains it as an open A Major chord and adds the 3rd fret of the first string with his 3rd finger. And finally he demonstrates the last chord which is B7 which he says is “A pretty stock chord” and explains it as 2nd fret of 5th string with 2nd finger, first fret 3rd string with first finger, 3rd string 2nd fret with 3rd finger, 2nd string open, and first string 2nd fret with 3rd finger. Jon then demonstrates who to put the chords into a 12 bar blues rhythm. Guitar TAB’s are available for this blues lesson at BluesGuitar.com.
