Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “Advanced Blues Guitar Chords from Lenny by Stevie Ray Vaughan - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- “This tune just blows my mind how amazing the guitar tone is and every single lick, it’s just a masterpiece for me,” says MacLennan. Jon says that “the chords used are not your typical blues progression chords”. He demonstrates the chords as follows; the first chord is EM13 (E major 13), 7th fret of the 6th string with 2nd finger and mutes the 5th string with 2nd finger, 4th string 6th fret with 2nd finger, 3rd string 8th fret with 3rd finger, and 4th finger bared across 9th fret of the first and 2nd strings, Jon says that “this is really a jazz chord”. The next chord is EM6 (E major 6), 2nd finger on 12th fret of 6th string with 5th string muted by 2nd finger, 11th fret of the 5th string with first finger, 13th fret on 3rd string with 4th finger, 12th fret on 2nd string with 4th finger, and note that the first string is also muted by first finger. MacLennan continues the lesson by playing some signature Stevie Ray licks using Double Stops. Guitar TAB’s for this blues guitar lesson are available at BluesGuitar.com.
