HAC, Inc to Add Three Stores to Food World Banner With the Purchase of Former Harvey’s Stores in Georgia
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- HAC, Inc., a regional supermarket chain based in Oklahoma, has acquired three former Harvey’s Supermarket stores in Georgia. The stores will begin transitioning over to the HAC, Inc. group on May 3rd, 2014 and will be added to the nine stores acquired by the company in October 2013, becoming the most recent additions to the company’s growing presence in the Georgia market.
The stores will be transitioned over to the Food World banner on May 4th, 2014 and were purchased following the sale of twelve stores from Delhaize Group to Bi-Lo Holdings, LLC. Two of the stores are located in Statesboro and one is in Vidalia, Georgia.

HAC, Inc currently operates 82 stores under seven banners including Piggly Wiggly, Food World, Homeland, United Supermarkets, Country Mart, Super Save and Super Plaza, in five states; Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
