According to Carly Mejeur, "I'm very honored and excited to be working on the 'Be Happy Walls' project. Its mission, which simply seeks to make the world a happier place one wall at a time, resonated with me immediately. As its Creative Director, my focus is to accumulate commitments from a wide range of talented artists, and then place their work into establishments where its needed the most."

"'The Be Happy Walls' concept has sprouted from an idea and into a reality overnight, thanks to Carly Mejeur," explains Joe Pregadio, the project's founder. "As a respected, local teacher and highly talented artist, Carly creates a tremendous level of value for our long-term initiatives. Her education, business experience and practical understanding of the dynamics of the art community are crucial resources to reach our beneficent objectives."

Be Happy Walls is one of the first ventures to begin developing out of Startup Palm Beach. The Be Happy Walls’ vision is to donate art to homes and community centers with specific needs and temporarily supply art into locations that are working to benefit the community. Within this process we will have the capability to cultivate a platform and organization of benevolent creators. We are currently seeking artists who are passionate about giving back, are willing to become ambassadors for the cause, help spread awareness about our mission, and establish a creative, dynamic artist community. For more information on how to help or become an ambassador, please contact behappywalls(at)beocean(dot)org.
