Bolour Associates Names Senior Project Manager, Ryan Granito, to Spearhead New Development Projects in Los Angeles’ Arts District
Los Angeles (PRWEB) February 27, 2014 -- Bolour Associates (Bolour), a privately-owned real estate investment, development and finance company, today announced that Ryan Granito, Senior Project Manager, will spearhead two new development projects in Los Angeles’ Arts District. Mr. Granito brings more than 10 years of real estate development expertise, having worked in both the private and public sectors throughout his career. He will be responsible for managing project due diligence, financing, entitlement and design.
The Arts District projects Ryan is managing include a live-work property and a mixed-use development with planned residential, commercial and retail uses. “I’m excited to be working with an entrepreneurial team whose innovative approach to development is focused on a given community’s needs and social fabric,” said Mr. Granito. “I believe in a thoughtful and responsible approach to development, where success is measured by both its economic merits and community’s benefit.”
“Our development business is growing rapidly and Ryan’s experience developing mixed-use projects is instrumental, lending itself not only to our most current live-work project in the Arts District, but to other exciting projects we have under development in Los Angeles,” said Mark Bolour, CEO and Principal of Bolour Associates. “We’re delighted to have him on board in this new capacity.”
One of the projects Ryan is spearheading is a 100,000 square foot parcel located at South Santa Fe Ave., which will be centered around an elevated 25,000 sq. ft. central park. Award-winning Shimoda Design Group, a local Arts District architectural firm, is designing this property. AMP Lofts will have up to 240 joint live-work quarters and up to 20,000 sq. ft. of restaurant and creative office space with views of downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains. “I’m delighted to be working with the Arts District community, Shimoda Design and local businesses who are committed to building a local and sustainable environment that’s focused on encouraging the creative work of its residents,” commented Mr. Granito.
Mr. Granito has broad industry experience ranging from acquisitions and dispositions to development and construction management. Prior to joining Bolour, he held varying roles at Lennar, Sares-Regis Group, and the San Diego Housing Commission.
He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania.
