Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 26, 2014
On March 5th, professional women from national security organizations, private security consulting firms, and all branches of the military will gather at the 2014 Women in Defense (WID) National Conference at Booz Allen Hamilton. This year’s sold-out event is sponsored in part by Andrews International Government Services (AIGS), a national security company specializing in security service at sites where Department of Defense clearances are required.
As the security provider for many government agencies and national defense contractors, AIGS has a vested interest in supporting the development of defense professionals. Cyndy Perez, Business Development Manager for AIGS, is representing the company’s women defense professionals at this year’s WID Conference lectures and presentations, which focus on successfully rising to challenges posed by the current national security landscape. The 2014 WID Conference theme is “Surviving and Thriving in Uncertain Times.”
Perez looks forward to delivering AIGS customers the benefit of new insights gained at the conference. “We are thrilled to play a role in one of the biggest events in the security industry this year,” she says. “Our ability to provide expert advice and high-quality service to our customers is dependent on our foundation of knowledge, and events like the Women in Defense Conference help us to stay abreast of the latest advances and developments in the national security arena.”
Booz Allen Hamilton, a strategy and technology consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area, provides security, technology, and strategy services to the nation’s foremost government and intelligence agencies. Each year, the firm hosts the WID Conference to facilitate professional development and knowledge sharing among professionals involved in the defense of the United States and national security.
