There is a well known difficulty in attracting and retaining highly skilled trade workers. With 53 percent of all skilled trades workers in the United States today over the age of forty-five and 18.6 percent between the ages of fifty-five to sixty-four, within the next two decades, the United States will lose a large percentage of their trade workers, such as welders, machinists, plumbers, and electricians.

The result: candidates are selected from only a fraction of the resumes received, meaning talented and qualified candidates are pushed to the sidelines and ignored.
