Word holds a technical degree in electronics from the US Navy and has over twenty-five years of specialized technology repair and maintenance experience and twenty years in management roles. Word joined Lexicon in 1999 as Manager of Mobile Computer Repair and later transitioned to Director of Technical Services. He led a performance-focused team that consistently met and exceeded service level commitments and was instrumental in the research and development of repair and maintenance processes responsible for reduced costs and improved technical reliability and user experience. Word has played a critical role in the creation of Lexicon’s printer, microelectronics, diversified and high volume repair operations.
