What I tried to do is combine elements of both casual-wear and street-wear for fans of both types of clothes. Then, I made each design with added simplicity to put more emphasis on the quality and comfort.

East Lyme, CT (PRWEB) February 28, 2014

Clothing in today’s world is becoming increasingly complex. With so many choices, people have a hard time balancing the type of clothes they buy. Peter Wu, from East Lyme CT, resolves to fix that dilemma with the launch of his startup clothing line;LeoCorde Clothing. “What I tried to do is combine elements of both casual-wear and street-wear for fans of both types of clothes. Then, I made each design with added simplicity to put more emphasis on the quality and comfort” says Wu.

Wu, just a junior at East Lyme High School, has devoted much of his time and personal funds in developing and sampling for LeoCorde Clothing. LeoCorde is Italian for “lion-hearted” which often refers to an ambitious individual. Wu himself describes himself as such and applies that concept in his line. At such a young age, it takes enormous amounts of ambition and courage to launch a Kickstarter campaign. The line itself features unique fashion garments such as the henley-hoodie and hooded-t-shirt. It also features classic styles such as the graphic t-shirt and crewneck. The line itself is produced by a private manufacturer dedicated to independent brands like LeoCorde. This means that the clothes produced for LeoCorde are of much higher quality than commercial brands that are mass produced.

Wu has taken to the Kickstarter crowd funding platform as a means to boost the launch of his brand. On Kickstarter, rewards are given for a given donation tier. Kickstarter campaigns operate under an “all-or-nothing” funding model so if the LeoCorde project doesn’t reach its goal at the end of 30 days then it might be years before you’ll see it on the market. To follow his project, be sure to find them on Twitter (@LeoCorde1) and Facebook and spread the word to your social media networks. Consider donating as little as $1 to help his project come to life!
