Seeking James Smith for Guinness World Record
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- The name James Smith is currently the most common name in the United States. Dancing Moon Travel is hosting a special group cruise for people sharing that name in an effort to establish a new World Record for "The Largest Same First and Last Name Gathering." The event will take place aboard the December 1, 2014 sailing of Enchantment of the Seas with stops at Coco Cay and Nassau Bahamas.
The current record for "Largest Same First Name and Last Name Gathering" was achieved September 20, 2005 when 164 Martha Stewarts gathered on the set of the TV show "Martha!" in New York City. Dancing Moon Travel wants to top this by having 180 or more individuals named James Smith onboard the cruise. If their effort is successful, each participating James Smith will receive an official Guinness World Record Certificate of Participation.
The event will feature a private motivational keynote presentation by best-selling author, speaker and coach Jim Smith, Jr. "As President, Founder & CEO of Jim Smith, Jr. International, Jim is dedicated to helping companies and individuals reach new levels of success," said Pat Hand, owner of Dancing Moon Travel. "We are incredibly fortunate to have Jim onboard with us. His enthusiastic style has earned him the nickname "Mr. Energy" and those who have experienced his inspiring, motivational presentations are said to have been JIMPACTed. His timely, poignant and high energy session will provide outstanding added value for our guests."
The Jim Smith Society has also partnered with Dancing Moon Travel by promoting the event to their members. "The Jim Smith Society is a group of like-named members who for many years have been coming together for the purpose of having fun. Individuals associated with their organization have been among the first to book into the event," said Kevin Gragg, Travel Consultant with Dancing Moon.
