ATIV Software today released a new module for its professional conference app, EventPilot, that allows conference attendees to easily self report attended sessions for Continuing Education (CE) credit, Continuing Medical Education (CME), Continuing Nursing Education (CNS), and/or Continuing Education Units (CEU) tracking to the medical or scientific meeting organizer. “The EventPilot conference app is used by some of the largest medical meetings and research events where healthcare professionals attend to fulfill their continuing medical education requirements (CME),” said Silke Fleischer, Co-Founder and CEO of ATIV Software. “Our conference app now makes it easy for attendees to report any credit session they attend directly from within the app.”
With the EventPilot meeting app’s new Credit Unit Tracking module, medical conference attendees can easily filter all available credit sessions available at the meeting, add pertinent presentations to their personal in-app schedule, and mark the credits for later claiming. Event organizers or their third party credit tracking service providers receive access to the user reported sessions with direct integration option into their own CME/CE system, where attendees claim their credits after the meeting to receive their certificate. The ease of use and direct integration saves healthcare professionals time and helps them keep accurate track records of their CME activities at the conference.
Focus on Credit Activities Using Filters
Physicians, surgeons, or nurses, who want to maximize their credits can easily filter their event program by just credit session. The filter can be combined with additional filters or category selections to hone in to relevant topics or research presentations.
Works without Wi-Fi with Offline Tracking
Large conference venues often have limited internet access. The EventPilot conference app is designed for maximum offline use and automatically tracks any marked sessions without requiring Wi-Fi. The native app smartly syncs data when Internet access becomes available.
Create a Seamless Experience with 3rd Party Integration
3rd party vendors take advantage of the EventPilot Credit Unit API to integrate the flagged sessions into their CME system. Healthcare professionals who attended the event will then find their list of reported sessions already pre-populated for claiming within the CME system.
The Credit Unit Tracking module is available immediately and supports native apps for iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones or tablets, and Kindle Fire, as well as the free EventPilot web-version included in each implementation.
