Students Can Now Take PARCC and Colorado Measures of Academic Success: Science and Social Studies Assessments on iPad
New York (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- Pearson today announced that TestNav 8, its delivery platform for online testing, is available on the App Store. Now many schools transforming education with iPad can implement new computer-based assessments with Pearson’s TestNav 8 app.
While meeting and maintaining the most stringent security requirements of high-stakes, large-scale assessment programs, TestNav delivers more than 12 million tests annually. This spring, with Pearson’s app, districts where students will take the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) field test assessments and the Colorado Measures of Academic Success: Science and Social Studies (CMAS) can choose to deliver the test on iPad. The ACT Aspire assessments will be available on iPad by spring 2015.
“Pearson is committed to ensuring that all students have access to powerful digital learning tools for accelerating achievement at every point in the learning cycle,” said Douglas Kubach, president, Pearson’s School group. “In preparation for the new online assessments that many schools are undertaking this spring, it is critical that Pearson’s online test delivery system runs effectively on the wide range of technology devices. We are committed to helping students leverage iPad as a tool to take assessments in the classroom environment where they learn everyday.”
