OMB’s new instructions in the “Super Circular” about internal controls have been ratcheted up. So, what features should federal grant internal controls have going forward? The March 11 Federal Fund Management Advisor webinar, “Internal Controls for Your Federal Grant Programs — Meeting OMB’s New Higher Standards,” will analyze the new internal control requirements and identify the kinds of responses that make sense in a federal grant context.

Federal grants expert and principal of Federal Fund Management Advisor Bob Lloyd will answer key questions like:

  • What will be the actual requirements for federal grant internal control?
  • What are the elements of internal control covered in the documents cited by OMB?
  • How can these elements be applied to key federal grant compliance areas like: management of federal cash advances and program income, cost allowability and allocability, management of grant-acquired property, and more.
  • What additional resources are available to help review and, if necessary, upgrade grant internal controls?
