The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) and MedCity Media, the publisher of MedCityNews.com, are partnering to launch a series of interviews featuring the top leaders in telemedicine. The series will debut at the two-day Industry Executive Sessions that will run concurrently during ATA 2014, May 17-20, in Baltimore.
The ongoing, exclusive MedCityNews.com column series will focus on up-to-the-minute thoughts, perspectives and stories on the healthcare technology industry as told by executives shaping its future. The Industry Executive Sessions, which will serve as the launchpad of the series, will convene the top 50 executives in the industry. The event represents a unique opportunity to learn and connect with corporate leaders who are shaping the market for telemedicine.
“We’re thrilled to launch this series and co-host the Industry Executive Sessions at ATA 2014 to spark meaningful dialogue amongst key executives in the space,” said Chris Seper, chief executive officer of MedCity Media. “Our readers, in addition to ATA attendees and participants, will gain truly unique insight into industry issues and the next big thing in telemedicine from the people that are shaping the market. You won’t find this anywhere else on an ongoing basis.”
The ongoing interviews and executive sessions will cover telemedicine, telehealth and mHealth related topics including international business development, today's service providers, innovation in technology, increasing ROI, telemedicine's role in the future of healthcare, and patient-centered care, among others.
For 19 years, the ATA Annual International Meeting and Trade Show has been the premier forum for the intersection of healthcare and communications. One of the fastest growing meetings in the country, ATA 2014 will feature 500 educational sessions, over 200 exhibitors and over 6000 estimated attendees.
