TechBreakfast Meet Up Group Comes to Frederick
Frederick Maryland (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- The Department of Economic Development, in conjunction with Tech Frederick, is pleased to announce the inaugural Frederick TechBreakfast. Tech Breakfast was launched in 2011 by Ron Schmelzer and provides an opportunity to "interact with your peers in a monthly morning breakfast meetup.” The series has expanded nationally with regular breakfasts in Washington DC, Austin, Boston, New York, Silicon Valley, and more.
During a technology Show-and-Tell event, five companies deliver seven-minute demos to a room full of tech enthusiasts. TechBreakfast enables entrepreneurs, techies, developers, designers, business people, and interested people to see showcases on cool new technology in a demo format and interact with each other.
March 25th at 8:00am brings the fast paced program to the Downtown Frederick area, held at the Deleplaine Visual Arts Education Center. To RSVP, visit the Meet-Up website. Questions or concerns, call 301-600-6362.
Tech Frederick is a joint venture of The City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, Frederick County Business Development and Retention, the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, and the local tech community. The organization supports local IT business owners providing advocacy, communication, networking and developing partnerships.
