New York, NY (PRWEB) February 28, 2014
Kayla Martell, 2011 Miss America finalist, will be speaking at two Women's Hair Loss Seminars in NY on Monday, March 10th, 2014 and Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 from 7 to 9 PM. Diane Puccio, Co-Owner, and Flora Fuentes, Managing Director of MHN Hair Studio, will host these events. The purpose of these seminars are to educate women who are experiencing any type of hair loss about the science of hair loss and the newest technology and affordable solutions now available. Kayla Martell, who lost her hair due to alopecia at age 11, is touring the US to help link women with hair loss to reputable hair studios who can help restore a full head of hair. Per Kayla, "Hair is so important to how a woman looks; every woman deserves to enjoy her beauty".
In spite of her hairloss, Kayla went on to compete for Miss Delaware and on to fulfill her lifetime dream to be a Miss America finalist. Today, Kayla is an optimistic ambassador who demonstrates that women can flourish after hairloss. She showcases the ability of modern hair restoration to not just cover the areas of hair loss, but to undetectably add length, volume, style and beauty.
In addition to Kayla, nationally recognized expert in women's hair replacement, Rhonda McCarthy, will provide insights into the causes and stages of hair loss. Diane Puccio and Flora Fuentes will provide detailed information on solutions now available. During the seminars women will be able talk openly about their hair loss, share their stories with other women having same experiences, become educated and know that they are not alone.
Attendees will receive a complimentary, confidential hair and scalp analysis. Both events are free and registration is requested. The Queens seminar will be held 7pm-9 pm Monday, March 10th, 2014, at the Family Restaurant at 110-80 Queens Blvd, across from MHN’s Queens location. The Manhattan event will be held 7pm- 9pm on Tuesday, March 11th at the office of John Dearie at 515 Madison Avenue, 11th floor.
More than 30 million women in the US are affected by hair loss, yet they don't know where to go or who to trust. Unlike men, women's hairloss has many more causes, some medically and some hereditary. It can be devastating with social stigma, not knowing the cause or who to consult. After seeing thousands of women withdraw socially to suffer in silence, industry expert Rhonda McCarthy developed these seminars as a resource to connect women with information. "We are a sisterhood of 30 million and we need to talk about it," McCarthy states. "We are committed to making this a very uplifting and educational experience. Any woman dealing with hair loss or thinning hair should know what her options are and that she is not alone!"
"The Women's Seminars are very important because women can share their personal insight of a sensitive subject in a caring and supportive environment" says MHN Co-Owner Diane Puccio. Flora Fuentes adds "No matter what their level of hairloss, women deserve to have their hair back, beautifully and naturally!" These seminars create a special opportunity in a discreet setting to meet with hairloss experts and become better informed about her choices.
