More than 60 of the company’s Dr. Seuss digital book apps will be on sale for up to 80% off starting February 28th through March 6th. The discounts are available on iOS, Android and Windows 8 marketplaces.
Oceanhouse Media is offering their 5 best-selling Dr. Seuss book apps for 99 cents (regular prices $3.99-$4.99) as part of the sale. These titles include "The Cat in the Hat", "Green Eggs and Ham", "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish", "Dr. Seuss’s ABC" and "Oh, the Places You'll Go!". In addition, more than 50 other Dr. Seuss book apps are on sale ranging in prices from 99 cents to $8.99.
For Dr. Seuss fans who love science, all 15 of The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library book apps are on sale for $1 off as part of the birthday sale (regular price $5.99). This nonfiction series introduces young children to basic science concepts and explores a range subjects from animals and nature to outer space. Recent releases include "If I Ran the Rain Forest" and "Miles and Miles of Reptiles."
"This is the first Read Across America Day that each of the 44 classic Dr. Seuss books are available on the App Store as a digital book app," said Michel Kripalani, founder and president of Oceanhouse Media. The NEA’s Read Across America Day is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.
