Sonja's international fashion lifestyle brand will be featured in season six of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Long before Sonja Morgan became a household name from her television appearances, she was a mover and shaker among New York City’s high rollers and international jet setters. While she was working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, she traveled the globe as a fashion model and actress with a sense of luxury balanced by her Berkshire values.

She made her mark in the luxury brand consulting field in the late 1980's, cementing her ranks among her international client base, which included Donald Trump and Sirio Maccioni. She also gained the moniker "the straw that stirs the drink" by John H. Mariani, food and travel editor for Esquire Magazine.

Sonja went on to create a biographical screenplay a la Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell and produce a multi-million dollar film The Marsh, starring Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker and Gabrielle Anwar of The Tudors and Burn Notice.

Through her role as “Sexy Sonja” on The Real Housewives of New York City, she continues to produce, write, choreograph, and perform through her soft burlesque singsong skits and her newly invented “caburlesque” in her world famous “Sonja in the City” events.

By partnering with Bravo TV, NBC Universal with over 95 million viewers in the United States alone, Sonja is now part of one of the strongest and most successful programs on television today. As part of RHONY, she is seen in nearly 150 countries. Sonja has been named “favorite NYC Housewife” on Watch What Happens Live by Andy Cohen, “favorite housewife of the entire franchise” by Tina Fey, and she is on Perez Hilton “all-time favorite housewives” list.

The current culmination of Sonja's international fashion lifestyle brand will be featured in season six of The Real Housewives of New York City, which premieres Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 9 pm EST on Bravo TV.
