ArcherPoint Client Kerry Rosvold Wins “Community Champion” Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Award
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 27, 2014 -- ArcherPoint, LLC, a Microsoft Dynamics Gold ERP Partner specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions and upgrades, is pleased to announce that ArcherPoint client Kerry Rosvold, Corporate Controller of Augsburg Fortress, has been recognized by Microsoft with the 2014 Community Champion Award as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Awards program.
The Customer Excellence Awards recognize, honor, and celebrate customer organizations that are achieving outstanding success with their Microsoft solutions. The Community Champion Award recognizes a person who shares their expertise with the Microsoft Dynamics community in activities such as speaking at conferences, contributing to community forums, blogging about tips and tricks, and more.
Rosvold and winners in 16 other categories will be honored by Microsoft executives at an awards luncheon on March 5th at Convergence 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. During this annual conference, attendees attend informative sessions on Microsoft ERP products and networking opportunities with peers, Microsoft team members, subject matter experts, Partners, and technology leaders.
A corporate controller who has considered Microsoft Dynamics NAV to be her “ERP of choice” since 2004, Rosvold has been an active member of NAVUG (the Microsoft Dynamics NAV User Group) since 2009, serving on the board of advisors and the programming committee and speaking at Summit, the organization’s annual conference.
“We are very excited for Kerry,” said Suzanne Scanlan, ArcherPoint Marketing Manager. “Her contributions to the Dynamics Community have helped so many businesses get more value out of their NAV solutions, and I don’t know anyone more deserving of this award.”
Rosvold has served as a Microsoft Convergence customer advisory board member since 2010 and in 2013 was an Official Event Blogger for the annual Microsoft event. She frequently conducts webinars, speaks, and teaches classes on Microsoft Dynamics NAV financial topics. For the past 2 years, Rosvold has blogged regularly at http://www.dynamicsnavfinancials.com and is active on Twitter @krosvold. Her blog averages 250 readers every day, from 160 countries around the world.
“I find it both exciting and humbling that, out of so many who contribute to the Dynamics Community, I was recognized,” said Rosvold. “I don’t really see myself as a champion; I see myself as someone who is trying to help others make connections. The biggest reward in what I do is being able to give back after getting so much benefit from all these resources. It is so gratifying when people come up to me and say, ‘I’m glad I’m not alone.’”
Rosvold recently took on the role of managing http://www.ILoveNAV.com, a crowd-sourcing site sponsored by NAVUG in which users can share their product feedback with Microsoft and have an influence on the direction of the product—a prospect Rosvold finds very exciting.
“The more resources we have available to help us solve the problems we face in our businesses every day, the better equipped we are to produce deliverables for our employers,” continued Rosvold. “Having a community to lean on—especially with involvement from Microsoft—on makes that job easier.”
ArcherPoint will be exhibiting at Microsoft Convergence 2014 in booth #634, adjacent to Microsoft’s Solutions Experience.
