Good People Creative partners with the Nashville Zoo to assist with branding and visibility for their annual Zzzoofari Slumber event, a unique overnight camp session near the snoozing animals for families and children. GPC provided a fresh logo and video services to further display the fun and excitement had by the patrons and to provide marketing tools for future events.
GPC’s exclusive production house, Good People Studios produced a video capturing the events that happened throughout the day and evening, including hayrides, inflatables, animals shows, crafts, hot dog and marshmallow roast and more.
“I think the main thing we wanted to portray is the experience rather than a summary of the event,” says Good People Studios owner and creative director, Josh Harrell. “When you have a bunch of kids running around having fun there is so much to capture.”
Harrell, an award-winning filmmaker who specializes in nonfiction storytelling, strives to tell the story in a way that is both engaging and entertaining. Good People Studios has recently launched a campaign focused on this type of documentary-style video that is more than just “a little clever 30-second video thrown up on a website,” as Harrell says.
GPS has already begun working with several regional companies to tell their stories and is looking forward to expanding their customer base, regionally and nationally. They are also working on a feature-length film using the same storytelling approach with their clients.
