Local Account Executive Emerges from Recession with Rare Honor

Long-time businessman Michael Yingst ends 2013 with company’s highest honor and new opportunities in a growing economy.

WorldPay US, the world’s third largest credit card processing company, bestowed their President’s Award to less than 2% of their sales force at the end of last year, including first-time recipient Michael Yingst. It culminated a year of growth for Mr. Yingst and WorldPay as most companies continue to seek ways to save money and secure their customer’s most private data.

Mr. Yingst has been with WorldPay for one year. His industry experience extends before that time, spending seven years with a previous payment processing company. In a field where the average Account Executive lasts only eight months in the industry, Mr. Yingst attributes his success to focusing on long-term customer relationships and loyalty instead of sales volume.

“I believe in offering good service and reasonable rates. It shouldn’t be any harder than that.” He has built a successful network of referral partners through friends, family, customers, BNI, and his more than two decades of dedicated involvement to Inland Empire youth sports.

WorldPay US is the third largest payment processing company in the world. They are unique in offering an indemnity waiver up to $100,000 for customers in combination with end-to-end encryption. They offer services in 40 countries including live, 24-hour US-based support. Mr. Yingst has clients in seven US states and more than 80% of his business in 2013 came from referrals.
