Industry-Leading Carriers to Attend 10th Annual Vertafore Connectivity Forum as Real-time Transactions Continue Record Increase

Vertafore reports a 147% increase in agency-carrier real-time transactions since 2011.

Vertafore, the leading provider of software that transforms the business of insurance, today announced that it is hosting its 10th annual Vertafore Connectivity Forum (VCF) focused on helping carriers and agencies better collaborate together to serve the insured. With more than 25 of the industry’s leading insurers in attendance, Vertafore continues to demonstrate its commitment to enable carriers and agencies to gain competitive advantage through leading-edge technologies.

The event comes on the heels of Vertafore facilitating a record 81.4 million agency-carrier real-time transactions in 2013 through its rating and management system technologies. This represents a 147 percent increase in transactions since 2011.

“According to ACT/AUGIE the average transaction without real-time capability can take upwards of 15 minutes compared to seconds with Vertafore,” said Dave Acker, Vice President, Strategic Market Development for Vertafore. “What this means is that up to 10,175 person-hours last year were given back to agencies and carriers that use real-time so they can sell more and service clients faster.”
