This event is the NYC-based label’s 8th official day party; it will double as the official Austin CD release party for the New Arrivals charity compilation. In addition, it will serve as the industry launch for MPress founder and flagship artist Rachael Sage's forthcoming EP. Earlier this year, MPress Records released New Arrivals Vol. 5: Artists For Hurricane Sandy Relief, which was featured on NY1 News and praised as "a solid collection of talented artists sharing their gifts for a great cause" by Renowned For Sound. It benefits three worthy New York based charities and includes music from Lucius, Ari Hest, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Paula Cole and more. The event will also showcase Rachael Sage's forthcoming EP (May 2014) featuring her uplifting new single "New Destination" which will be available for download.

The year’s lineup includes: 4-time Independent Music Award Winner Rachael Sage and The Sequins; Grammy® Nominee & ChildFund International artist partner, Seth Glier; Alternative-pop 4-piece and New Arrivals Vol. 5 artists A Fragile Tomorrow; Danielle Howle + Firework Show, a fusion of roots and Americana from indie veteran songwriter and Charleston City Paper’s “Most Experimental Band; Western Canadian Music Award nominee JP Hoe, a singer-songwriter whose catchy hooks and melodies deliver a genuine homespun feel; and multi-platinum selling Johannesburg-bred alternative band The Parlotones , known for their deftly crafted, dark romantic lyrics and as an international opener for Coldplay. Award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Mia Dyson closes out the show with her bluesy-rootsy rocking sound.
