I'm a huge advocate for making things easier on clients so they can keep their websites up to date.
Ann Arbor, MI (PRWEB) February 28, 2014
Frustrated by the pitfalls of standard WordPress widgets, Matthew Restorff — Director of Web Development at Hile Creative — set out to develop a plugin that would make it easier to create and implement reusable content within a WordPress site.
Named "Buckets," Restorff's plugin has been available for two years, but continues to grow in usage and acclaim. Most recently, WordPress Tavern gave the plugin a positive review for its flexibility: "Buckets gives you full control of where you want content to be placed. You're not limited by what your theme offers in terms of sidebars."
Restorff said Buckets benefits both web developers and their clients, the end users. "I'm a huge advocate for making things easier on clients so they can keep their websites up to date," he added. To date, the plugin has 2,750 downloads.
Responding to client feedback for Buckets has helped Restorff develop numerous improvements, including on-page adding and editing, a Buckets listing page, and a Buckets button.
"Having Matthew lead our web development efforts gives us a real edge," said Dave Hile, President of Hile Creative. "He doesn't just execute — he innovates. He's always thinking of new ways to help our clients get the most out of their websites."
