Stillman Joins the Texas Operation of North American Title Co. as General Counsel
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) March 03, 2014 -- North American Title Company’s Texas region has added Lynn B. Stillman as its new general counsel. She has eight years’ experience in the Texas title industry, four of which were as a corporate counsel on the senior level.
“We are very fortunate to find a general counsel with Lynn’s experience of starting and building a title agency from the ground up,” said Bill Moize, president, Texas region, North American Title Co. “She was a senior vice president and corporate counsel at her previous employer. In addition, Lynn is active in the Texas Land Title Association and State Bar of Texas. She will be a great addition to our regional management team.”
Stillman most recently worked for a Dallas-based independent title agency as senior vice president and corporate counsel, handling the company’s regulatory, compliance and corporate matters, as well as staffing, training, business development and administration. Her experience also includes working as corporate counsel for another Dallas-area title company, as well as for a law firm and rental housing clinic in East Lansing, Mich.
“The opportunity to be part of a well-established, strong, independent agency, known for its expertise in the title industry, is very attractive to me,” said Stillman. “I want the North American Title branches to feel they are well supported and have access to legal counsel in order to close their transactions effectively, in a timely manner, and with the least amount of risk for all parties involved.

Stillman is a graduate of Michigan State University and a cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law. She also studied abroad at Cambridge University, St. Catherine’s College, England, and lived, studied and worked in Australia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Slovakia and Spain. Stillman was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006 and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association’s real estate section.
