Brave River Solutions Launches New Ecommerce Site for B.E. Publishing
Warwick, RI (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Warwick, Rhode Island-based web design and development firm, Brave River Solutions, redesigned the eCommerce website for B.E. Publishing, a producer of classroom resources and educational tools.
B.E. Publishing, also located in Rhode Island, came to Brave River in search of a complete overhaul for their decade-old website. Brave River designed the new website on their BRS Commerce platform, which includes shopping cart functionality, quick order capabilities and secure transaction processing. BRS Commerce also includes two features that were very important to B.E. Publishing, but their old website lacked: discount/promo code functionality and in-site search.
Along with a desire to keep the content of their website vibrant and fresh, one of the motivating factors driving B.E. Publishing to seek a redesign was that some customers reported difficulties in locating specific products on the site. Brave River’s built-in product search feature presented the perfect solution. Customers can search the entire product catalog to find the products they need quickly and efficiently. The newly launched site is also equipped with Google Analytics, providing B.E. with near-instant reporting on website traffic and visitor behavior that they had previously lacked. “It’s been great to see the high volume of repeat visitors,” said Michael Gecawich of B.E. According to Gecawich, B.E Publishing considered out-of-the box website solutions when planning for the redesign, but decided that the custom programming offered by Brave River Solutions was the best way to ensure their business requirements were met. “Brave River provided us with an incredibly customized solution and was able to deliver specific features – including the ability for customers to upload purchase orders – that were unique to our organization’s needs.
