Business schools and universities can get a free Bitrix24 Professional cloud account, which allows unlimited users and comes with 100 GB cloud storage.
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) March 03, 2014
"Companies increasingly rely on social enterprise tools and technologies, but many still struggle with getting the most out of them, partly because first generation enterprise social networks are nothing but internal 'facebooks' and 'twitters' of very debatable business value. We want to introduce MBA and Business Administration students to the second generation of ESNs that are work-centric and come with a number of tools that businesses use on a daily basis, from CRM to HRIS to Project Management," said Dmitry Valyanov, Bitrix, Inc. President.
After filling out a request form and getting approved, business schools and universities will get a gratis Bitrix24 Professional cloud account, which allows unlimited users and comes with 100 GB cloud storage. It does not require any setup or administration from the university IT department. The offer does not extend to student groups.
In addition to being used as private social network, Bitrix24 can be utilized as collaboration platform for staff and faculty members, or a place where study materials are shared and students work together on assignments. The self-hosted version of Bitrix24 also comes with extended functionality currently not available in the cloud, such as eLearning and Knowledge Management module that allows course creation and tests with grading.
"Business schools have traditionally been very receptive to the technological innovations and stressing the ever increasing role of IT in business management and business process automation. MBA students are exactly the audience that can quickly understand and appreciate the advantages Bitrix24 offers," added Mr. Valyanov.
Bitrix24 is the fastest growing enterprise social network and collaboration platform, created for small to medium size organizations. Over 120,000 companies have signed up with Bitrix24 after it was launched in April 2012.
