Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “John Mayall & The Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton - How to Play Little Girl - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) March 03, 2014 -- “The guitar playing on this album is just phenomenal and if you have not checked it out you should get this album right way”, says MacLennan. Jon demonstrates the riff, that features Eric Clapton, as follows; first you slide into a D note on the 5th string, 5th fret, with 3rd finger, playing it as 1/8th notes (1 & 2 & 3 &), next he plays the 3rd fret of the 4th string with his first finger and then back to the first note and then back to the second note and then back to the first note. “Then we got a real typical rock lick”, says MacLennan, slide from the 3rd fret of the 4th string to the 5th fret with 3rd finger. Next is two double stops by baring your first finger across the 3rd fret of the 3rd & 2nd strings and then 5th fret with 3rd finger and add a little vibrato and then back to the 3rd fret and then back to the 5th fret 4th string with 3rd finger. Jon continues with more variations of the G minor pentatonic scale that he says is “embellishing the G major chord”. Guitar TAB’s for this blues guitar lesson are available at BluesGuitar.com.
