Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 05, 2014
For two consecutive years, global commercial real estate services firm Studley has acknowledged a Houston broker with its most coveted honor, The Numero Uno Award, recognizing the company’s top producing individual across all US markets. Last year’s recipient, Houston co-branch manager and executive vice president, Mark Russell passed the baton to co-branch manager and executive vice president Mark O’Donnell at Studley’s annual winter trip, keeping the prestigious accolade in Houston for another year.
Studley’s Houston office, which recently celebrated 10 years of success under Russell and O’Donnell’s leadership (alongside Steve Biegel and Derrell Curry), was the number fourth grossing office in the company in 2013 and has quadrupled in size since getting started. Russell’s work with Schlumberger Holdings, JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association and Harland Clarke Corporation garnered the company’s attention in 2012 and O’Donnell’s army of material transactions in 2013 include assignments for Statoil Gulf Services, Bechtel Oil Gas and Chemicals, Baker & Hostetler, Chevron USA and IHI E&C International, which verified his top producer status for Studley in 2013.
With 20 years in the field of tenant representation, O’Donnell has managed more than 25 million square feet of transactions valued in excess of $2 billion. Just this month, O’Donnell was honored with NAIOP’s Office Deal of the Year and was a finalist for their broker of the year recognition. Similarly, Russell has spent 23 years in the industry, handling millions of square feet of transactions with a variety of Fortune 100 companies. He has earned numerous accolades such as Houston Business Journal’s Heavy Hitter award and most recently received the highest score on Bank of America’s lease renewal evaluation that anyone has ever earned by the company’s internal grading system.
"Mark Russell and Mark O’Donnell continue to impress us with their stellar results. They are both extraordinary tenant advisors and have proven themselves as industry leaders in Houston and nationwide," says Studley’s president, Michael Colacino. "We are lucky to have their expertise and commitment on our side and wish them another remarkable year."
In 2013, Studley was also recognized as one of Houston’s 2013 Best and Brightest Companies to work for by the NABR.
