Gato Barbieri Returning to Tampa Bay for One Night Show

About Gato Barbieri:
The popular jazz saxophonist and composer has been thrilling fans since the 1960's when he rose to fame during the free jazz movement. His most recent and 50th album, called New York Meeting was released in 2009. Currently Gato is touring and collaborating with director, Nancy Savoca, on a documentary called "el Gato: A lifetime contribution to Jazz." He is the recipient of a U.N.I.C.E.F award and is currently composing a collaborative CD for U.N.I.C.E.F on behalf of the children of Argentina.
