Pole To Win, the premier one-stop-shop for video game quality assurance testing, customer support, and localization announced today that they have organized a panel discussion on “the place of machine translation in today’s gaming industry”. This session is hosted as part of the Game Localization Summit which takes place during the Game Developers Conference 2014 held in San Francisco, California from March 17-21, 2014.
To fit that purpose, Pole To Win has assembled a group of experts in the field including Michaela Bartelt, Senior Director of Worldwide Localization at Electronic Arts, Beatrice Compagnon, CEO of Vienna Group International, Kirti Groves, VP of Enterprise Translation at Asia Online and Declan Groves, Linguistic Engineer at Microsoft. The panel discussion will be moderated by Mike Dillinger, President of the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas.
The range of experiences and opinions that Pole To Win is bringing together for this panel discussion will help the audience catch-up with the latest developments concerning Machine Translation technology, how it is applied today in the translation industry and will help everyone develop their thinking about the place of this technology in their translation system.
