In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she was implanted with the Zimmer NexGen Knee implant in 2012, and in 2013, she underwent revision surgery as the implant had developed significant loosening.
According to court documents, on January 24, the presiding Judge in the Zimmer NexGen Knee implant Multidistrict Litigation terminated Zimmer’s longstanding motion to strike class claims (MDL 2272, US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois).
