Immigration Workshop: Introduction to Tier 2 Sponsorship
London (PRWEB UK) 3 March 2014 -- Kadmos Consultants, a London-based firm of Immigration and Nationality lawyers, will be running a workshop offering an overview of the Tier 2 sponsorship system to help employers avoid mistakes and non-compliance penalties when hiring a migrant worker.
The workshop may be of interest to business owners and HR professionals responsible for recruitment. The programme is designed for those businesses who have either just received their licence and are unsure of the next steps, or those who are considering the possibility of employing migrants from outside the European Union, but are not yet sure how the system works or whether they will succeed in getting the necessary permissions.
Immigration lawyers from Kadmos will explain the basic flow chart of the process of employing migrants and will aim to give prospective employers a clear overview of the Tier 2 sponsorship system.
The workshop will address the requirements for a sponsorship licence, the procedures associated with issuing and assigning certificates of sponsorship, general requirements of the resident labour market test, and principles of the Sponsor Management System.
“Many UK based businesses are under the impression that it is too complicated or even too risky to employ migrant workers, but this just isn’t true,” explains immigration lawyer, Helena Sheizon. “Employing migrants should not be viewed as a difficult or challenging process. Most of our clients tell us that the benefits their business gains from the expertise and commitment of migrant workers by far outweigh any additional expense associated with the sponsorship process.”
For those who are not yet familiar with the process, advance knowledge of each stage of the process and associated costs should help in making informed business decisions.
The workshop, scheduled for 1 hour, including question and answer session, will be held on Thursday, 13th March at 4 pm, at the offices of Kadmos Consultants in Wembley Park, London. The cost is £45+VAT per participant. Early registration is recommended.
