The Institutes’ Online Community Reaches 100,000 Members
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 -- Membership in The Institutes Community, a social platform created for insurance professionals to connect with industry peers, has reached the milestone marker of 100,000.
The Community, created by the insurance-education leader The Institutes in 2012, offers a social experience through which members can create a personalized, online profile that allows them to:
•Connect with fellow property-casualty and risk management insurance professionals
•Discuss industry trends and issues
•Exchange study tips and insights for The Institutes’ knowledge solutions
•Receive career insight and advice
“The Community is a great place to provide or find support while working through Institutes’ designations and coursework,” said member Terry Baker, CPCU, CIC, AU, AIC. “More importantly, it is an avenue to connect and share ideas with industry peers from across the world. There is no better avenue through which to grow and hone your skills.”
The Institutes has a strong presence on other social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, but offer access to The Community to provide additional opportunities for students and professionals to connect and engage.
“We are excited to be celebrating this milestone for The Community,” said Kim Cavallero, director of social media and communities at The Institutes. “Our members have helped us create a true learning-based community that encourages dialogue, discussion and relationship building while supporting the insurance industry.”
