International Bullying Prevention Association Announces Call for Proposals for San Diego Conference
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- This event will bring together 800 professionals from schools (pre-k through post-secondary) and community organizations interested in stopping bullying. The conference is designed for school counselors, health educators, researchers, coaches, lawyers, school administrators, social workers, community agency staff, school psychologists, law enforcement personnel, mental health providers, restorative justice personnel, athletic directors, and others working with youth.
The conference theme, Building Supportive Relationships to Create a Positive School Climate speaks directly to the purpose of this important event; to be strengthened with new knowledge, research and practices which will inspire, invigorate, challenge and renew our efforts to stop bullying and foster compassion. Outstanding national leaders will provide research, strategies and solutions for schools and communities in bullying prevention and intervention throughout this event.
Currently proposals are being accepted for workshops for the conference. Presenters are encouraged to submit a proposal to present before the deadline of March 30th at http://www.stopbullyingworld.org.
Rosalind Wiseman and Dr. Jeff Duncan-Andrade are confirmed as this year’s keynote presenters. Both bring to the conference a wealth of experience and inspiration that attendees will benefit greatly from.
