(PRWEB) March 10, 2014 -- Carlos de Nicaragua y Familia fulfills their dream with a new release on 30 april 2014 of EP album “Vamos…Siempre pa’lante.”
The immediate news is that the group are excited to announce that "Radio Now Volume 18," a compilation of 3000 records, includes one of their old favorites “Mayombe” from their first 1984 album. This inclusion has received rave reviews.
Following this acknowledgement, Carlos de Nicaragua y Familia cannot wait for the release of “Vamos…Siempre Pa’lante,” produced and published by the French label Fixman cd, which includes new tracks:
- Vamos
- Militante
- Gagarin
Carlos de Nicaragua, born Carlos Wiltshire, is Nicaraguan born but now resides in France since he moved there in the early 1980s and shook up the music world with his very popular “Mayombe.”
Carlos has the ability to motivate his followers, and they will often join him in song during his stage shows. Carlos and his band ‘Familia’ were one of the early salsa reggae style bands, and Carlos continued to add in music and rhythms from places like the Bronx and other salsa capitals. The journey has seen him break away from his earlier years as a revolutionary and move down another path following his love of music.
Although he expresses himself though his music he avidly absorbs information and techniques from anthropology and the cinema. He has an open mind towards his music and is a great follower of the reggae prophets such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Burning Spear. Carlos sees reggae as a way to uplift his audience and spread his message to the world.
Today Carlos likes to mix his music genres, and his ability to do this successfully has enabled him to excite his listeners with a mix of reggae, salsa and reggaeton. Being able to incorporate these different genres together has proven to be successful in that he has a wide mix of followers.
Although “Vamos…Siempre pa’lante” only has three compositions, a combination of these styles has been balanced to bring about the Caribbean and Latin influences. As you listen to this contemporary mix of music, you will feel the vibes of Latin America and North America and enjoy the reggae beats, experience the joy of jazz and hear a touch of hip-hop rhythm.
“Militante” is upbeat with a Latin edge but also including some Cuban vibrations that lifts the arrangement and excites, along with the upbeat vocalizations.
“Gararin” will take you down the medley path of alternative rock, funk and salsa, giving the definite reggae touch. This track is much more along the lines of music combinations with edgy vocals and free-form guitar.
“Vamos” is the tune to get you off your seat. It has an exotic beat and the vocals are hypnotic. Very salsa, very jazzy and fully South American, with a beat that will leave you wanting to dance, sway and writhe your way around the room. This is most definitely a track for those who prefer a more upbeat tempo.
As Carlos de Nicaragua continues to explore his musical talent we will continue to enjoy his salsa, reggae, Latin American style. With his new EP album “Vamos…Siempre Pa’lante” being released 30th April, his followers will be waiting with full expectations of another successful outpouring of his alternative talent.
