Todd Waguespack Recognized for Leadership, Innovation
Baton Rouge, LA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Todd Waguespack, Managing Partner for Level Homes, is chosen for two prominent awards including Professional Builder's '40 Under 40' award as well as The Baton Rouge Business Report's Young Businessperson of the Year award.
Waguespack, who turns 40 in July of this year, was chosen by the editors of Professional Builder, a national magazine serving the home building industry as one of 40 business executives and/or entrepreneurs. According to the publication's website, the winners represent 'the next generation of leadership and innovation in home building.'
The Baton Rouge Business Report (The Business Report), in conjunction with Junior Achievement, which honors traits like leadership, vision, ingenuity and/or innovation, chose Waguespack for Young Businessperson of the Year.
Waguespack's family is no stranger to these awards as Todd's grandfather, Charles W. (Chuck) McCoy, then CEO for Louisiana National Bank, won The Business Report's Executive of the Year in 1984. McCoy is credited with designing the first drive-through bank, revolutionizing the industry on a national level.
Leadership and innovation are attributes that Waguespack displays and exhibits every day. But if you ask him, they're just part of his passion. “I just love what I do,” said Waguespack. “I'm excited to go to work each day knowing I am building homes for families. After all, for the vast majority of us, our homes are our most valuable asset,” he continued. “I love knowing that I have a part in that.”
Waguespack has led Level Homes' national expansion into North and South Carolina and is poised to continue that growth by recently announcing its entry into Florida. In true leadership fashion, he is quick to credit his team with the success of the company.
Waguespack will be profiled in the March 4 issue of The Business Report and honored at a celebration at the Crowne Plaza on Thursday, March 27.
Waguespack will be featured in the March 2014 issue of Professional Builder and online at probuilder.com.
