The biggest challenge facing organizations today is getting things done; executing against strategy and maintaining a level of execution excellence that promotes success over time.

PMO Advisory (, the management consulting firm that helps organizations bridge the gap between ideas and execution, has initiated a major study to assess the state of business execution in the current hyper-competitive environment. The purpose of the study is to provide an ongoing evaluation of how business is aligning its business strategy with good execution.

The study has been in pilot since February and PMO Advisory has already received hundreds of quality responses from middle- to senior-level executives. The study is designed to span all types of organizations including Fortune 500 corporations, public and private companies, non-profit organizations, and government institutions. This is an ongoing study designed to evaluate changes in competitiveness and how business execution evolves over time.

All responses are anonymous, although participants can leave contact information to receive copies of the results for one year. The results of the study are issued once every quarter. Participants also can receive a side-by-side comparison to determine how their organization measures up against the general state of business execution.
