Former Simparel Executive Chairman Steve G. Vogel has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer. With more than 20 years of industry experience with start-up and mid-sized companies in the software and high tech industries, Mr. Vogel has served in various executive roles for US- and foreign-based companies conducting business in Canada, Europe, Israel, Japan, India, and Singapore and brings the leadership and experience to help build the continued success of Simparel.

Prior to joining Simparel, Mr. Vogel served as CFO to ONPATH Technologies, a leading provider of scalable connectivity and monitoring solutions for high-performance networks. As CFO of NYC-based NICE Actimize, the largest provider of financial crime, risk, and compliance software for the financial services industry, he helped lead the company's 50% growth, achieving over $120 Million in revenues. Prior to ONPATH, Mr. Vogel spent three years with a rapidly growing SaaS hedge fund software provider, Paladyne Systems and served in the executive team of Chordiant Software, a leading public software services firm. Mr. Vogel also served as the CFO of Tessera, Inc., where he helped prepare the company for an initial public offering. Over his expansive thirty year career, Mr. Vogel has served in executive positions at iLogistix, Microbank Software, Guardian Industries, Corning, and the Ford Motor Company.
As Mr. Vogel focuses on accelerating the growth of Simparel and deepening its relationship with customers as the senior operating executive, the Board of Directors announced that Robert Lewis will join the Board as Chairman. Bob has over 30 years of global enterprise software leadership experience. He began his career at IBM and has since been involved in the industry as a founder, a four time CEO and a venture capitalist. He has led companies through phases of rapid growth and geographic expansion. He has been a senior member of leadership teams at global ERP companies (SAP, Baan and SSA) and been CEO of several early-mid stage companies that are now part of Xerox, Arrow Electronics and Experian.
