More About Timber!:
Known as co-organizers of the Doe Bay Festival and producers of the popular Slack Fest and Artist Home Summer Bonfire Series, and heralded as “innovators in art” by City Arts Magazine, the folks at Artist Home have always worked to integrate unique natural settings into the musical experience in innovative ways. In 2013, Artist Home debuted two festivals in their new Outdoor Music Festival series: Timber!, a summer festival in Carnation, WA, and Timbrrr!, a winter fest in Leavenworth, WA. Both festivals were a great success and will return in 2014, continuing Artist Home’s legacy of uniting music, community and nature.
Timber! Outdoor Music Festival 2014 will take place in the rural splendor of Carnation, Washington, as a result of a partnership with King County Parks. With the setting of a densely forested 574-acre park situated at the confluence of two rivers.
Timber! is essentially a big neighborhood camp-out in the woods. Folks come from all over to camp under the stars, swim in the river, and lay out in the sun enjoying music from two primary stages. Ticketholders enter Timber! via a long suspension bridge, and during the day, the Mainstage rings out in a large sunny meadow. At night, the Campfire Stage, nestled among a tall forest of fir trees, becomes a sanctuary for serious listening. Timber! has a wide variety of options available for camping on site and food and beverages available throughout, plus a select range of merchandise vendors.
Weaving an inspiring natural setting into impromptu and inspired musical sessions, carefully curated artistic lineups, a positive community vibe, and innovative stage setups, Timber! is the sound of a new and deeply innovative festival in the Pacific Northwest.
