Amerigo Energy Announces Addition of Douglas Zorn to the Management Team, Focus on Nasdaq Listing

Douglas Zorn comes on as Chief Operating Officer and will help with Company business strategy.

Amerigo Energy, Inc. "The Company" (OTCBB: AGOE), announced today that Douglas Zorn has come on as Chief Operating Officer for the Company.

Mr. Zorn is a 35 year veteran of executive management and finance in the high-technology sector with broad-based experience navigating high-growth, venture-backed startups and large companies through international expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and IPO s.

Jason Griffith, Chief Executive Officer of Amerigo Energy, Inc. stated, "I am excited to have Doug part of the team. Most recently Mr. Zorn served as the CFO for Rimini Street, Inc., which is an independent provider of enterprise software support headquartered in Las Vegas with offices in six (6) countries. During his tenure at Rimini Street, sales backlog increased from several million to over $500 million. Mr. Zorn was instrument in raising the early capital for the company.

Mr. Zorn is a certified public accountant with an extensive public company operations and reporting background and is a business builder experienced with most aspects of company operations. Prior to Rimini Street, He Zorn was a founder of three companies: StarVox Communications, Inc., Appiant Technologies, Inc. and Centigram Communications, Inc.
