Drifting a car is the practice of turning a corner at high speed and allowing the car to go into a controlled slide. It requires a careful combination of speed, handling and control. Once a car begins sliding around a turn, it’s up to the driver to maneuver the car correctly to avoid spinning out of control.
The series of Drift Mania games by Ratrod Studio Inc. provide an exciting and fun game where players drift sports virtual cars right on their Intel® Atom™ tablets for Windows* 8.1. Players score points based on four main criteria: speed, line, angle and impact.
Drift Mania’s games features numerous car control features including two acceleration modes (pedal and throttle bar), steering sensitivity adjustment, variable throttle system and hydraulic handbrake. The games also feature numerous levels, different camera configurations, replay systems and adrenaline-fueled soundtracks.
When developing the Drift Mania series of car games, Ratrod Studio Inc. took advantage of its status as an Intel® Software Partner status in the Intel® Developer Zone, which provides assistance with business planning, product development and optimization, marketing and more.
