Mexico vs. Nigeria Tickets in Atlanta GA at the Georgia Dome: Ticket Down Has Slashed Prices on All Nigeria vs. Mexico Tickets at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on March 5th
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 03, 2014 -- Ticket Down has reduced all ticket prices for the upcoming soccer match in Atlanta, GA between international soccer powerhouses Mexico and Nigeria. When international power house soccer teams make their way to the United States, the demand for tickets is usually pretty great. That is exactly the case for the game between Mexico and Nigeria on March 5th at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The game is set to break the record for the most fans in attendance at the Georgia Dome for a soccer game, passing the previous record set in 2013 in a Gold Cup match featuring Mexico.
This will be the second game of the year for Mexico and is the first of their final five warm up games before traveling to Brazil for the World Cup in June. Mexico will also play against other elite national teams including Portugal, United States, Ecuador and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but this game against Nigeria will their first test against one of the top teams in the world. In January, they beat South Korea 4-0 in San Antonio, Texas. After barely qualifying for the World Cup, Mexico needs to use this game and their other four before heading to Brazil to get their gears going in the right direction. Mexico is currently ranked by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association as the 20th best team in the world.
For Nigeria, they are heading into their fifth World Cup this year as the 41st best team in the world. They aren’t ranked as high as their counterparts at the Georgia Dome, but they are a team that is on the rise. Nigeria is one of the best teams from Africa, having won three African Nations Cup titles including most recently in 2013. They are a team that has reached the Round of 16 in two World Cup tournaments, but haven’t made it out of the Group Stage in their past two appearances.
Mexico will need all the time on the pitch that they can get before the World Cup to correct all the problems that soccer fans saw in their qualifying group. The Mexican national team will be led into action against Nigeria by a solid mix of youth and veteran players. Those players that fans the Georgia Dome can expect to see put their jersey on for this game include Rafael Marquez, Oribe Peralta, Andres Guardado and Guillermo Ochoa.
The Nigerian national soccer team has a lot of talented veterans that will lace up their cleats in a few days, while also having a lot of younger players looking to get some playing time in. Joseph Yobo has the most Caps in their national team history, while Vincent Enyeama has the second most caps. Both players will play for Nigeria in this game, while active goal leader Yakubu Aiyegbeni will also likely play.
The Georgia Dome is the home of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. The facility opened in 1992 and has seating capacity for football games of more than 72,000. When Nigeria and Mexico take the field, there will be more than 54,000 fans in attendance, making it another in a long list of soccer matches in the past five years that have drawn more than 50,000 fans.
