Greenwich Cup Kicks Off Swim at YMCA of Greenwich on March 9th

The YMCA of Greenwich, in partnership with Threads & Treads’ Greenwich Cup series is hosting a “Y Mile Swim” on Sunday, March 9th beginning at 8:00am.

The Greenwich Cup is a series of athletic events each month sponsored by Threads & Treads, culminating with the Jingle Bell Jog in December, 2014.

Swimmers of all levels welcome to participate.

Entry fees: $20 for youth (up to 6-13 years old) and $35 for adults (14 and over).

Adult swimmers can use their time for Masters’ events. The top 3 swimmers in each group will be recognized on the YMCA website and Facebook page.

Proceeds from Y Mile Swim will be used for the YMCA to fulfill its mission; offer scholarships for summer camp, afterschool programming, childcare, affordable membership and programs for the Greenwich community.
