Software Company Dives into the World of Twitter Parties
Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- In the month of December, Boost Software’s™ PC HealthBoost hosted a holiday-themed Twitter Party, packed full of PC-based trivia and facts. There were prizes to be won, and socializing to be done.
The party was held on Twitter, at the hashtag #PCHolidayBoost. By the end of the hour, the hashtag was trending in the United States, thanks to the hundreds of attendees. There was a large list of twitter party hopefuls, who RSVP’d to the event, in hopes to be selected as a winner.
The attendees were tweeting for a chance to win a multitude of prizes, including gift cards, downloads of the PC HealthBoost Software, and a touch-screen ASUS laptop. The prizes were given out at random to the party attendees who RSVP’d at the Twitter Party Announcement. The duration of the online tweeting party was approximately an hour.
During the course of the party, a gift card, and download of PC HealthBoost, was awarded every ten minutes. The grand prize winner of the touch-screen laptop and a copy of PC HealthBoost, was chosen at random at the end of the hour. The winners were announced during the party, and sent a message at the conclusion.
While the event was occurring, attendees had the chance to ask questions and interact with PC HealthBoost directly. Moderator, Jenna from MOMenvy Blog, a self-proclaimed Twitter Party aficionado and a product reviewing/mommy blogger, assisted PC HealthBoost during the party hour.
The Grand Prize Winner was Vinessa Vasquez. “It felt awesome to be the grand prize winner. The shipping was super fast and the PC HealthBoost has been working great. I had to get used to working a touchscreen but it has been so useful.”, Vasquez said about her prizes.
It was a successful event, and won’t be PC HealthBoost’s last. To stay updated on the latest of PC HealthBoost’s promotions, be sure to follow them on their Facebook Page, Twitter Page, or Google Plus Page. You can also check out the latest on the newly developed PC HealthBoost Blog.
