Lenox Hill Hospital’s Auxiliary Hosts Relationships, Friendships and Intimacy: The Mind/Body Connection
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- Relationships, Friendships and Intimacy: The Mind/Body Connection will be the focus of the 16th annual Healthy Give & Take Luncheon, sponsored by The Auxiliary of Lenox Hill Hospital. The event will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Club, located at One East 60th Street. This informative spring luncheon features lively discussions on important topics in women’s health and provide an opportunity for the audience to engage in a lively “give & take” with the speakers.
According to Auxiliary Chair, Michele Jeffery, Relationships, Friendships and Intimacy: The Mind/Body Connection will focus on relationships and the affect they have on our minds and bodies. The panel of experts will provide insights and practical advice on the emotional and physical impact of relationships on our health at every stage of our lives.
Jane Hanson, Emmy™ award-winning television journalist and media coach, will moderate a panel of Lenox Hill Hospital physicians – Suzanne R. Steinbaum, MD, Director, Women’s Heart Health, The Heart & Vascular Institute, Jennifer Wu, MD, Department of Gynecology; Elizabeth Messina, PhD, Department of Psychiatry and Elizabeth Bernstein, prominent Wall Street Journal columnist who writes on relationships.
Proceeds from the annual Healthy Give & Take Luncheon will support a wide array of Auxiliary programs that promote the hospital’s unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of patients, staff and community.
