Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) March 04, 2014
Jeffrey S. Kahn, a shareholder in the Boca Raton office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, introduced Judge Thomas Buergenthal, an International Jurist and Holocaust Survivor, as the featured speaker at the United States Holocaust Museum’s Luncheon to Commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day in South Florida on January 27th. Judge Buergenthal addressed a crowd of nearly 700 who had gathered to honor the victims of the Nazi era and demonstrate the South Florida community’s commitment and dedication to the cause of Holocaust remembrance and education.
Kahn chairs the South Florida Business Professional Advisory Committee (B-PAC), a business and professional group established to support the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a world-class institution with the power to inspire people to think and act differently in the face of hate, anti-semitism, and genocide.
“I am honored to have served on the 2014 South Florida Regional Leadership Committee hosting such a meaningful event.” said Kahn. “My firm, Greenberg Traurig, was privileged to be one of the sponsors for this important event in Boca Raton and has for several years been fortunate to sponsor other events for the United States Holocaust Museum around the country.”
