Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Arthur Bienenstock, Stanford Professor of Applied Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, and Presidential Advisor for President Obama and President Clinton respectively, will be helping mobile simulation training for enterprise start-up Morf Media Inc. The simulations engage employees by mimicking real-life situations to enable learning through practice.
Currently, Bienenstock advises President Obama as the chair of the Administrative Burden Task Force within the National Science Board. The task force seeks to increase the research capabilities of federally-funded researchers by decreasing the time they spend on administration. As a senior science adviser to President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001, he helped protect human rights in research and advocated gender and racial equality in Science.
Bienenstock is also Special Assistant to the President for Federal Research Policy at Stanford University. He is currently Director of the Wallenberg Research Link and a Professor Emeritus of Photon Science and previously held the positions of Vice Provost, Dean of Research and Graduate Policy and Director of the Geballe Laboratory for Advanced Materials while at Stanford.

He received the Distinguished Alumnus Award of the Polytechnic Institute of New York Alumni Association in 1977, the Rector's Medal from the University of Helsinki in 1994, the Distinguished Service Award from the Department of Energy in 1998 and the Cuthbertson Award from Stanford University in 2009. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Institute of Physics and of the California Council on Science and Technology. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
