ARA announces the appointment of Robert Stemplinger as Sr. Director, Programming and Data Standards. Mr. Stemplinger will report directly to Peter Shabe, ARA’s President and CEO.
Mr. Stemplinger joins ARA from a 16-year period with ICON Clinical Research, where he most recently served as Senior Director, Statistical Programming, and previously as Senior Director, Data Integration and Standardization, and as Senior Director, Data Management and Applications Programming. Mr. Stemplinger has held senior management or management positions for various public and private companies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry over the past 23 years, with emphasis on statistical programming, clinical data management, applications development, and project management. Recent focus has been on CDISC standards, including heading a department responsible for implementing the solution for creating SDTM and ADaM data sets and their associated deliverables. Mr. Stemplinger holds a B.S. in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA and is the author of numerous publications and presentations.
